The site was purchased in August 2008 and we set about restoring the half 'Reigate Stone' and half 'Oak Timber Framed' main barn to its former glory, using materials and techniques from when originally constructed.
Once the restoration of the shell was complete, we cast in situ two curved floating mezzanines at either end, with solid balustrade creating a modern contemporary feel, within this stunning Grade II Listed Barn.
The adjoining 'cattle shed' had to be completely rebuilt except for two ‘Reigate Stone’ Listed boundary walls, which had to be underpinned. The cattle shed now houses 4 double bedrooms, 2/3 bathrooms, utility room, games room in the loft space spanning two bedrooms and main entrance hall.
The barn has a master suite with bathroom, dressing area, nursery on one mezzanine and drawing room on the other mezzanine featuring 15' x 12' floor to ceiling feature window. Main sitting room at one end with full height dining hall in the centre and hand built high gloss contemporary kitchen with Aga at the other end.
